Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in OB hospitalist services or inpatient obstetric care
• Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage obstetric emergencies effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with high-risk obstetrics
• Familiarity with hospital EMR systems
• Ability to interpret fetal monitoring and manage complex obstetric cases
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of recent hospitalist or obstetric practice
• Prior experience working in Texas healthcare settings

Other Requirements:

• Ability to obtain expedited privileges (hospital can provide assistance for clean files)
• Commitment to maintaining current certifications, including BLS, NRP, and OB-related licenses
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts as assigned, including weekends and holidays
• Compliance with all hospital safety and health protocols
