Fabric Cutting Assistant

Upholstery Fabric Cutter / Cutting Department Associate We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented person to join our upholstery manufacturing team. This position is responsible for preparing and cutting fabric for production while ensuring all orders are completed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Gather the correct fabrics, patterns, and work orders for production Spread and position fabric properly for CNC cutting machines Hand cut pillows, cushions, and special-order parts as needed Verify fabrics, patterns, and quantities before cutting Ensure all orders are cut accurately and meet quality standards Inspect materials for flaws or defects before cuttingKeep the cutting department clean, organized, and safe Label and organize cut parts for production Work closely with supervisors and production teams to maintain workflow Must be organized. Dependable and detail oriented Qualifications Experience in upholstery, fabric cutting, computers, or manufacturing preferred Ability to read work orders and follow patterns accurately Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Ability to stand for long periods and lift fabric rolls/materials as needed Competent at basic math, comfortable with computers. Read work orders organized and able to work with scissors.
