($2,500 paid out after 30 days and $2,500 paid out after 60 days!)/ppPrimary Responsibilities:/pulliMulti-skilled technician with a current State Board of Electricity Journeyman or Master license providing focused competency maintenance support./liliThis position is a highly developed troubleshooting electrical technician that follows and enforces the National Electrical Code (NFPA 79)./liliMentoring apprentice (unlicensed) electricians is a requirement./liliTrained on all electrical hazards and is an advocate for our electrical safety programs./liliContinuous job-related training and current electrical license is required for this position./liliUnderstand, troubleshoot and problem solve issues of intermediate complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)/liliCan troubleshoot internal networks and MES equipment integration./liliUse the National Electrical Code (NFPA 79) to enforce code that applies to electrical installations./liliDiagnose PLC and HMI programs. (Load, modify, create)/liliUnderstand switch functions and trip curves of low voltage circuit breakers. Understand the principles of circuit interruption, components of a switchgear assembly, and preventive maintenance requirements./liliTroubleshoot, inspect and clean components in motor controllers MCCs/liliBayport Tech: Competent at switching functions, components and operating principles of high voltage (13.8 KVA) switchgear./liliExcellent communication, time management, organizational and prioritization skills./liliAbility to work in a team environment and self-direct activities./liliAbility to manage vital maintenance functions to maximize corporate assets./liliDirects and provides leadership/mentoring/coaching of other technicians including electrical code compliant applications installed by an electrical apprentice./liliProvide multi-skilled maintenance/electrical support focused on customer service, quality, cost and productivity in a TPM and CI environment./liliUnderstand and troubleshoot various mechanical components, including compressors, motors, pumps, and bearings./liliPerform shaft alignment using different methods and tools; handle gaskets, packing, and mechanical seals./liliOperate and maintain CNC machining equipment, manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders./liliUse hand and power tools to replace components, recalibrate machinery, and resolve equipment issues; read pneumatic system diagrams and measure vibration in equipment./liliPromote a safety culture focused on developing maintenance skills and abilities./liliDemonstrate respectful workplace behavior./liliStrong focus on customer service./liliUnderstand safety rules and procedures to safely perform all tasks./liliUnderstand LOTO./liliAssist Maintenance team members in the troubleshooting and maintenance of operations equipment./li/ulpQualifications and Skills:/pulliJourneyman or Master Electrician License required./liliAdvanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, reasoning and analytical problem-solving skills./liliCompetent at electrical building wiring installed to NFPA 70 electrical code./lili2-yr technical degree or equivalent past work experience./liliContinued technical training required each year./liliUnderstand basic electrical circuits and safely requirements./liliUnderstand basic function of PLC, drives and controls./liliUnderstand and operate a volt-ohm-millimeters (VOM) and non-contact voltage testers to properly test for energized electrical circuits./li/ulpPhysical Requirements Summary:/ppSome heavy lifting required to replace motors, pumps, extruder screws, etc., at low frequency. Equipment is provided to move / manipulate heavy components. Occasionally lift /carry objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally squat, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel and balance. Requires repetitive action such as simple staring, grasping, firm grasping, and fine manipulating.
