Restoration Crew Chief (Lead Technician)

Restoration Crew ChiefA well-established property restoration company in Spokane, Washington is hiring a Restoration Crew Chief to run the crew on site for water, fire, smoke, and mold losses. You'll lead a small team of technicians, get structures dry and safe, and keep the property owner informed every step of the way. If you've been a strong mitigation tech and you're ready to lead, this is a long-term career move.Key Responsibilities:Lead a crew of technicians on water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire and smoke jobs from setup to final dry-outExtract water, perform controlled demolition, and set, monitor, and adjust drying equipment to IICRC drying standardsBuild containment and carry out mold remediation tasks, including negative air, removal, HEPA vacuuming, and cleaningTake and log moisture readings, mapping, and photos, and keep job documentation current (DASH, Encircle, or similar)Communicate daily with property owners, and pass job updates to the supervisor or project manager and adjustersTrain newer technicians on equipment, safety, and customer careLoad, clean, and maintain company vehicles and equipmentRespond to emergency and after-hours calls as part of an on-call rotationFollow OSHA, EPA lead-safe (RRP), and IICRC safety and job standardsRequired Qualifications and Credentials:2+ years of water mitigation or restoration experienceIICRC WRT required; ASD and AMRT preferredMold remediation experienceComfortable with moisture meters, thermal imaging, and drying equipmentA valid driver's license is required; driving to job sites is an essential function of the role, and the driving record must meet company insurance requirements.OSHA 10 certification requiredWhy Join:$25 to $32 per hour plus overtime and performance bonusCompany Vehicle and/or Paid MileageCompany offered benefits: standard package available.Paid certifications and trainingGrowth opportunity: future growth opportunities available.Keywords: restoration crew chief, lead technician, restoration lead technician, lead mitigation technician, lead water technician, water mitigation, mold remediation, fire restoration, IICRC, WRT, ASD, AMRT, structural drying, water extraction, demolition, moisture mapping, on-call, disaster restoration, property damage
