The Prep Cook plays a vital role in ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, the Prep Cook works independently to support chefs and kitchen staff, primarily during evening and weekend shifts. This role involves using various kitchen machinery and performing manual food preparation tasks to deliver quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes
- Measure and organize food items accurately
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Organize stock and manage inventory efficiently
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and properly
- Follow recipes and cooking instructions precisely
