Housekeeper

The Housekeeper will work with a contractual housekeeping crew to help maintain the company's grounds, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the various levels of the building but mainly on the 2nd floor. Your role will involve ensuring that all common areas, corridors, stairwells, lobbies, and other shared spaces are kept tidy and presentable. You will work diligently to create a welcoming and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in all common areas of the building, including hallways, stairwells, elevators, and lobbies. Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials in accordance with established procedures and schedules. Ensure that waste receptacles are emptied regularly and kept clean. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers. Changing bed linens and making beds. Replenishing supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all flooring surfaces, including carpets, tiles, and hardwood floors. Use appropriate cleaning methods and equipment to achieve optimal results. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed during cleaning duties to the appropriate supervisor. Adhering to health and safety regulations and protocols. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products suitable for various surfaces and materials. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects. Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends, and holidays, as needed. Ability to work with people of varied cultural backgrounds and tolerate differences in behavior. Pass federal, state, and local background check investigations. Working Conditions This position may require standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the shift. The housekeeper may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and fumes.
