Actuarial P&C Senior Associate

Client-facing Actuarial ConsultantConsulting/client-facing rather than a reserving cycle role—the work spans audit and advisory engagements for multiple insurance clients.Senior P&C actuarial consulting role in KPMG's Houston, Texas Audit practice. You'll support loss reserving, ratemaking, experience studies, and modeling across commercial lines, personal lines, and reinsurance projects, while working with insurance clients and mentoring junior staff.RequirementsMust haveMinimum 3 years of recent P&C actuarial experienceAuthorized to work in the US without visa sponsorshipStrongly preferredBachelor's degree from an accredited college/universityTwo actuarial exams passedStrong academic background in actuarial science, applied statistics, etc.Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize without intensive directionStrong working knowledge of actuarial software and database software (Excel, Access)Solid technical writing and verbal communication skillsNice to haveAssociate of SOA or CAS certification preferredTools: Excel Access Domain: Property and casualty actuarial experience (3+ years) Loss reserving Ratemaking Commercial lines Personal lines Acturhire
