Mechanical EIT duties typically include: Assist in designing sustainable, innovative mechanical systems that function efficiently in cold climates. Develop 3D building models using the latest BIM technology. Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team on impactful projects. Lead and be accountable for system design and performance. Design Alaska seeks these desirable attributes in Mechanical EIT applicants: A degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program. Actively pursuing or intending to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Alaska. Demonstrate a high-level understanding of mechanical system concepts. A passion for community-focused work and sustainable, energy-efficient design solutions. Demonstrated expertise and leadership in design.
