Job Description

Franklin Steakhouse & Tavern is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands on Restaurant Manager to join our management team. We are looking for someone who is a strong leader, works well in a fast paced environment and understands what it takes to provide excellent hospitality while keeping daily restaurant operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have previous restaurant management experience and be comfortable leading a team, interacting with guests, handling day-to-day operational challenges and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee daily front of house restaurant operations

-Lead, supervise and motivate servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers and other staff

-Assist with employee scheduling and proper staffing levels

-Train and develop employees while reinforcing service standards

-Ensure guests receive excellent service and promptly address any concerns

-Maintain a professional, positive and organized work environment

-Monitor opening and closing procedures

-Assist with inventory, ordering and cost controls

-Ensure restaurant policies, cleanliness standards and health and safety procedures are followed

-Work closely with ownership, kitchen management and other managers

-Help oversee private events, entertainment nights and high-volume restaurant service

-Assist with POS operations, cash handling and end of shift procedures

-Identify operational issues and proactively work toward solutions

Qualifications:

-Previous restaurant management experience strongly preferred

-Strong leadership and communication skills

-Excellent customer service and problem solving abilities

-Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team

-Comfortable working in a high volume restaurant environment

-Strong organizational and time management skills

-Knowledge of restaurant POS systems and basic restaurant financial controls preferred

-Must be dependable, professional and willing to be hands on when needed

-Must have flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays
