Job DescriptionAs a Fire Alarms Systems - Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide high-level technical support and service to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance of Honeywell products and systems. Your expertise and dedication will drive customer satisfaction and contribute to the success of our service operations.In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our service operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the growth of our business by ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESSystem Testing & Inspections: Perform periodic tests and yearly NFPA fire alarm inspections to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations.Diagnosis & Repair: Use tools like multimeters and hand tools to troubleshoot and resolve faults in fire alarm components, including smoke detectors, pull stations, and notification devices.System Programming: Program various fire alarm control panels (FACPs) and integrated systems like EBI (Enterprise Buildings Integrator), ensuring they adhere to specific site plans and contract requirements.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and service actions.Technical Guidance: Train customers on system operation and mentor junior technicians in fire safety standards and troubleshooting techniques.Travel up to 100%QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEMinimum of 2 years of experience in a technical service or field service roleStrong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksWE VALUEExperience with Honeywell products and systemsCustomer-focused mindsetStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to train and mentor junior techniciansBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELLIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
