Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients and design personalized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven methods to promote improvements in motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, SLPs, medical professionals, and nursing staff for comprehensive care delivery.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about therapy practices to facilitate continued progress outside of clinical visits.
• Track Patient Improvement: Monitor and document patient progress, revising treatment as necessary to keep everyone on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Commitment to continuing education and obtaining additional certifications is encouraged and supported

Certifications Required

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification must be current
