Regional Director, Projects, Estimating & Service (West)

What You’ll Do The Regional Director, Client Operations Group will lead a team within the COG organization and partner closely with cross-functional groups including Product Management, Outside Sales, Branch General Managers, and Engineering to deliver on customer requests and commitments. This role is responsible for driving process development, continuous improvement, training, and key business performance indicators (KPIs), while modeling a hands‑on, "lead from the front" leadership style. Key Responsibilities Evaluate workflows across estimating, order entry, production, and shipping to identify opportunities for efficiency and improved yield. Implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and lead times. Lead the estimating team to deliver accurate, timely, and competitive quotes for standard and custom storefronts, railings, and glass entrances. Ensure follow‑up on high‑value quotes to improve conversion rates. Oversee order processing for complex projects, ensuring speed and accuracy. Foster a customer‑first culture that supports inquiries, technical needs, and issue resolution while reinforcing CRL’s reputation for reliable service. Lead the project team serving as liaison between customers, sales, and manufacturing. Align schedules, adapt to changing site conditions, and resolve project bottlenecks. Coach, develop, and lead managers and estimators to drive accountability, consistency, and high performance. Champion and model CRL’s mission, vision, and values in daily leadership and decision‑making.
