CPI Adult Specific Competencies CPR Description: The unit provides care in a patient-centered environment. The number of beds in the unit is 40. Staff includes 46 members. On day shift, there is 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 3 Mental Health Technicians. On night shift, there are 4 RNs and 3 Mental Health Technicians. Patient ratios are 1:8. No specific equipment is used in the unit. Electronic Medical Records are managed using Meditech. Compassion, kindness, motivation, and an understanding of mental illness are essential qualities for candidates. The dress code requires turquoise and black scrubs. This is a patient-centered unit that seeks opportunities to help others in their darkest hour.
