Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,290 – $3,900 Role: Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner (OB/GYN), Outpatient Clinic Location: Fontana, California (92335) — Southern California / San Bernardino County Start Date: July 20, 2026 End Date: October 31, 2026 (option to extend) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (36 hours/week) Patient Census: 20–24 patients per day EMR: EPIC (Health Connect) Call: No call responsibilities Support: Full RN and LVN staff; supervising physician available Why This Locum Tenens NP Job? Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) AHA BLS Certification required Strong GYN clinical experience and comfort managing preventive gynecology Ability to perform and interpret dating ultrasounds down to 8 weeks (own ultrasound) Experience with endometrial biopsy (EMB), management of abnormal bleeding, HRT, Bartholin abscess, and PAP screening Proficiency with EPIC EMR (Health Connect) required Experience with telehealth/video appointments preferred Must be eligible to work in California — candidates requiring state licensing assistance will not be considered Primary Responsibilities Provide comprehensive GYN care and selected OB services, including well-woman exams and preventive gynecology Perform and interpret transabdominal/transvaginal ultrasounds for early pregnancy dating (to 8 weeks) Manage abnormal bleeding, HRT initiation/management, EMB procedures, Bartholin abscess care, and PAP screening follow-up Conduct video (telehealth) visits and in-clinic appointments as scheduled Collaborate closely with RN staff, LVNs, and supervising physician to coordinate high-quality patient care Document thoroughly and accurately using EPIC (Health Connect) EMR Benefits GHR Healthcare offers 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision to Employees.
