Barista

Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of tea drinks, including those made with fruits, milk, tea, tapioca pearls, and other creative toppings, following established recipes and quality standards. Ensure the correct ingredients and proportions are used for each drink, including tea, milk, fresh fruits, tapioca pearls, and other toppings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, including prepping ingredients (e.g., cutting fruits) and cleaning equipment. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Assist in inventory management, ensuring all ingredients (including fruits) and supplies are stocked and stored properly. Adhere to company health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for customers and staff. Handle cash and process transactions accurately and efficiently. Assist in training new team members on drink preparation and operational procedures. Stay updated on new menu items, seasonal specials, and promotions to enhance the customer experience. Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or supervisor. Qualifications: Prior experience in retail, food service, or hospitality management. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Physical & Essential Job Requirements (for Barista) As a barista, you are expected to perform a range of essential job functions in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment. You must be able to perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodation: Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift) Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, including ingredients, containers, and supplies Reach, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements for drink preparation Move throughout the store to interact with team members, operate equipment, and serve customers Work in a loud, high-energy environment with fluctuating temperatures Follow food safety, sanitation, and equipment cleaning procedures Communicate effectively with customers and team members in a clear and professional manner Must can work weekend shifts You must be able to meet these physical and functional requirements as part of your essential duties in this role.
