Your future role at a glance Location: Anderson, IN Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Department/Specialty: Paramedic, Transport only, No 911 Schedule: Days | Full Time | 3 shifts per week 11:00am - 11:00pm How you'll make an impact in this role Lead life‑saving interventions and patient stabilization during transit, working in close sync with physicians to ensure a seamless continuum of care from bedside to bedside. Execute specialized transport protocols with precision, monitoring patient vitals and treatment responses to guarantee safety and comfort throughout the journey. Communicate critical health updates and care transitions to the receiving medical team, ensuring that every patient’s clinical story is told accurately for better recovery outcomes. Support patients and their families by explaining complex treatments in clear, comforting language, reducing anxiety during high‑stress transitions. Maintain high‑performance medical equipment and transport environments to ensure a fail‑safe setting for the team and the patients you serve. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Paramedic credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Drivers License credentialed from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
