We are looking for a dynamic and talented Dental Hygienist to join our practice part time (2-3 half Fridays a month)! Bonuses offered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Update patients’ medical history
- Perform a comprehensive periodontal evaluation
- Identify possible failing dental restorations, possible decay and/or open margins and contacts, and all other oral and dental conditions
- Take good radiographs
- Perform oral prophylaxis, polish, scaling and root planing, and other adjunctive local periodontal services as needed ( ie antibacterials, antiseptics, antibiotics)
- Educate every patient on proper diet, and its relationship to oral health, and appropriate care of their teeth
- MUST SPEAK English and Spanish
