The regional media group serves the Green Mountain State with five localized stations: WZRT (Froggy 100.3 Country), WJJR (98.1 JJR), WJEN (105.3 Cat Country), and WSYB (Classic Hits 100.1)Key Responsibilities:Drive revenue by identifying new business opportunities.Proactively prospecting new business every day.Make outbound calls, cold calls, schedule meetings, and present in person.Sell on-air, digital and event advertising.Nurture client relationships and create custom media solutionsSell innovative multimedia advertising and marketing solutions (digital, broadcast, social media)Build and manage a diverse client pipelineCraft tailored creative proposals for clientsCollaborate with content and production teams to execute campaignsFollow up with clients within 30 days to ensure satisfaction with the services provided.Ask for business and close dealsWork Environment:Fast-paced environmentMay involve evenings, weekends, or holidaysMajority of shifts are spent mobile in a vehicleInvolves lots of traveling to visit clientsDesired Attributes:Self-starter, takes proactive initiativeCompetitive nature, likes to excel with goals, scoreboards, and accountabilityStrong communication skills; can confidently speak with business ownersOrganized seller who manages activity and follow-throughViews rejection as part of the process — not a deal-breakerExperience Requirements:B2B sales experience preferredMedia or digital advertising experience is a plusReliable transportation to commute to clients and other offices.One to three years' previous sales experienceMust be detail orientedMust work well with little directionExcellent communication, organizational, and computer skillsWhat We Offer:Experience a dynamic, collaborative culture that fosters growth, with continuous training and advancement opportunities.
