Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Supreme Court and Appellate Associate in Seattle, WA. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft persuasive appellate briefs.
• Collaborate with trial teams to preserve key issues for appeal.
• Engage in oral arguments before appellate courts.
• Participate in strategic planning for complex appellate cases.

Requirements

• Experience as a judicial clerk, preferably for a federal or state appellate court.
• Membership in the State Bar of the office location or ability to become admitted promptly.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal research skills.
• Superb writing and oral communication skills.
• Highly motivated and proactive team player.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
