RapidFire Rentals is looking for a CDL Driver to join our team!

Duties & Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers to deliver and pick up heavy construction equipment and rental units.

Load, secure, and unload heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, mini-excavators, compactors) safely at customer job sites.

Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers.

Maintain delivery documentation and ensure accurate shipment paperwork.

Follow DOT safety and federal/state transportation regulations.

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license.

Clean driving record, ability to pass background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.

Experience hauling construction or heavy equipment preferred.

Ability to lift up to ~75 lbs and assist with rigging loads when needed.

experience with detach trailer is preferred but will train the right candidate.

knowledge of rental equipment operation is also preferred, driver will be responsible to load and unload trailer.

Responsibilities

Keeping control of electronic logs

Safely securing loads and delivering loads to job locations

Obeying and following all traffic laws.

Reporting defects, accidents, and violations

Performing daily maintenance of truck

Communicating and coordinating with dispatcher

Pay will be determined by experience.
