Senior Accountant

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies monthly. Participate in the month and year-end financial close processes. Assist Accounting department with various activities, such as invoicing, AP entry, etc., as needed. Liaise with FP&A, location management, owners, etc. to execute the financial close, provide guidance, and work together to improve processes. Assist with financial statement preparation for internal management, regulatory agencies, and stockholders. Utilize various ERP and reporting software to view documents and account balances, run reports, analyze and utilize data for analytics. Efficiently complete Microsoft Excel spreadsheets including pivot tables, v-lookups, conditional formatting, and analysis of data. Monitor GAAP compliance, other relevant regulations, and elevate issues and recommend solutions. Complete special projects, as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. 4+ years relevant professional experience required or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required competencies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Manage time efficiently in order to meet various deadlines. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a varied and changing scope of responsibilities under supervision. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and various accounting software.
