Experience: 2 years or more experience with trauma and stroke required

License: Current State/District license required

Certifications: AART RT(R)CT required; BLS required

Must-Have: Associate's Degree or equivalent; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required

Description: Must live 100 miles away. Schedule includes Saturday (Freestanding ER requiring CT and X-rays), Sunday, and Monday (CT Tech duties). On-call duties required; call shifts will be arranged around the Saturday start day. Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors. Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors. Position the body correctly based on physicians' orders. Obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs. Reduce unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self. Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation and supply management. Manage contrast reactions and codes during procedures. Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
