Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,303–$1,369 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Start date: 10/26/2026 Shift: Unknown Work setting: Long-term care / skilled nursing facility Travel assignment status: Travel - temporary assignment Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Implement treatment plans to improve residents’ mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence Deliver direct therapy sessions, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance activities, safely and effectively Observe and report resident responses to interventions, including progress or changes in condition, to the supervising PT Assist with resident assessments and contribute to documentation and care planning as appropriate Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and techniques to promote safety and carryover outside therapy sessions Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure proper use of therapy equipment and assistive devices Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with staff to support coordinated resident care Adhere to state, federal, and facility regulations and professional standards of practice Uphold licensure requirements and pursue continuing education as applicable Requirements Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Massachusetts Graduate of an accredited PTA program Prior experience in SNF or geriatric settings preferred Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively as part of a rehabilitation team under supervision of a licensed PT Ability to work in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility environment Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Credentialing and licensing assistance to expedite onboarding Ongoing clinical and administrative support during the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
