Job Summary Instaclustr is looking for a Product Manager – AI Market Segment to join our dynamic Product Management team as we expand our open‑source‑as‑a‑service platform for agentic AI. Responsibilities Understand the problem space in the AI market segment through market awareness, customer discovery, and experimentation. Develop and maintain a segment vision, crafting and evangelizing compelling narratives (“working backwards” stories) that align and inspire product, engineering, GTM, and executive teams around a compelling value proposition for the target segment. Act as a credible expert in the AI market segment to support and drive GTM efforts, including crafting compelling narratives to drive sales plays, sales conversations with high‑value opportunities through to conference presentations. Serve as an escalation and resolution point for critical priority calls within the AI market segment, whether that is an individual strategic customer issue or broader prioritisation calls. Job Requirements 8+ years of product management experience, including experience with developer and focused products. Strong understanding of AI‑related customer objectives and problems, market trends, and key concepts. Excellent capability to facilitate and manage planning in demanding stakeholder environments. Excellent communication skills. Strong business acumen. Ideally: Understanding and experience with open source products such as those offered by Instaclustr (Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, OpenSearch, Cadence, ClickHouse, and PostgreSQL). Technical understanding of key cloud architecture concepts. Education Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred. Compensation The target salary range for this position is 196,350 – 292,600 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
