Certified Home Health Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant

Become a part of the Hope At Home Inc. Family! We currently have full‑time and part‑time positions available for Medicare certified Home Health Aides (HHA) throughout the Metro Detroit service area. The Certified Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant is a paraprofessional member of the home health care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs. The aide observes patients, reports observations, and documents care performed. The home health aide will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a patient’s care. Qualifications Past experience at a Medicare certified home healthcare agency Medicare‑certified home health aide certification (Required) Certified Home Health Aide (Required) Responsibilities Provide health care services in patient’s residences Administer simple prescribed medications Assist with client’s personal care activities Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition Maintain patient care records and document services Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise Collect routine specimens Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills / Competencies Proven working experience as a Licensed home health care aide Ability to monitor vital signs and collect specimens Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Knowledge of nursing and healthcare administration skills Compassionate and caring personality Current CPR certificate First aid training Valid driver’s license High school degree Benefits Flexible schedule Schedule Weekend availability #J-18808-Ljbffr HOPE At Home Health Care
