Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join a dedicated team providing high-risk perinatal care in a comprehensive maternity service setting. This role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on delivering exceptional support and expertise during the labor and delivery process.Key responsibilities include:Providing compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.Managing and monitoring high-risk pregnancies and deliveries, ensuring patient safety and emotional support.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.Utilizing advanced fetal monitoring techniques to assess fetal well-being.Floating to postpartum unit as needed, supporting couples in their transition to parenthood.Participating in triage operations, assisting with patient evaluations in a skilled nursing environment.Qualifications include:Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred; candidates with experience in facilities with 100-200 deliveries may be considered.Current certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.Ability to work weekends and float to postpartum as required.Hard stop required to have a sterile vaginal exam (SVE).Unit information includes:High-risk perinatal care with a Level III designation.Facility includes 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, and 30 postpartum beds.Three operating rooms and two post-anesthesia care units (PACU) are available.Triage staffed by three skilled RNs per shift.Support staff includes surgical techs and certified nursing assistants (CNA) to assist RNs.Deliveries are managed by a team of 3-4 providers available 24/7.Additional information includes:Type of Facility: Level II Trauma Center.Total Staffed Beds: 571 across multiple locations.Scrub color: Any (excluding reddish orange).Charting system: EPIC.Parking: Facility-paid.If you are passionate about advancing maternal and child healthcare and meet the above qualifications, we encourage you to apply and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in patient care.Client Details City Everett State WA
