Electrical QA/QC Foreman The Electrical QA/QC Foreman is a leader responsible for supervising electrical, low voltage work, or manufacturing QA/QC execution while leading all quality assurance and quality control activities on assigned projects. This role ensures work is performed safely, meets NEC, project specifications, and client standards, and is fully documented for inspection, turnover, and final acceptance. The QA/QC Foreman provides daily leadership to crews and QA/QC staff, coordinates inspections, and supports continuous improvement across quality and execution. Field Leadership & Supervision Lead, motivate, and mentor electrical/low voltage, craft professionals, and/or QA/QC Technicians, building strong, accountable teams. Conduct daily huddles, establish clear safety, quality, and production expectations, and monitor progress against project goals. Plan work 2-3 weeks ahead, coordinating materials, inspections, equipment, to remove quality and schedule obstacles. Required involvement varies based on the size of project and/or location of the work. Support project leadership with issue resolution, schedule updates, and client communication as needed. Quality Assurance & Compliance Develop, execute, and maintain the project QA/QC Plan and Inspections. Lead inspections, testing, and verification activities to ensure compliance with NEC, project specifications, and client standards. Coordinate inspections with internal QA/QC groups. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, and corrective actions through resolution and closure. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed daily logs, inspection records, test results, red-line drawings, RFIs, and quality documentation using Interstates systems. Track time, quantities, productivity, and quality metrics accurately. Ensure completeness and accuracy of turnover packages and documentation required for final acceptance. Safety & Standards Enforce site safety expectations and actively participate in safety meetings. Ensure all work aligns with Interstates safety standards, QA/QC best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. Education/Experience High school diploma or GED required, technical in a related field preferred. 7+ years of experience construction, QA/QC manufacturing, or data center environments. Advanced working knowledge of industry standards and QA/QC best practices. Proven experience supervising crews and/or leading QA/QC teams Strong leadership, communication, documentation, and coordination skills Electrical journeyman license depending on field role. Location / Travel This position will require 100% travel to assigned worksites across the United States. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Per diem and mileage stipends applicable per company policy. Work Schedule Start times, break times and work hours vary per site and stage of our projects. Our employees work more than 40 hours per week but no more than 60, as part of our commitment to safety. Due to the type of construction, weekend work maybe required on occasion. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, this role is often exposed to high/precarious places, risk of electrical shock, and all outside weather conditions. This role is expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Due to the nature of our work and our client base, this role may involve tasks in an environment exposed to dust. Candidates should be comfortable working in these conditions and complying with safety standards to protect their well-being.
