Overview

We are seeking a Head of Technology & AI Product to lead the design and development of a secure, enterprise-grade software platform that delivers data-driven insights and intelligent automation for business users. This individual will be responsible for building scalable technology systems, integrating data from multiple software sources, and developing AI-driven products that help organizations make better operational and financial decisions. This full-time role is based in New York City, and operates in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The successful candidate will lead platform architecture, product development, and engineering execution. They will work closely with leadership and operational teams to ensure the platform supports evolving business needs. Candidates should be comfortable building systems from the ground up and partnering with leadership teams, internal, and external stakeholders.

Platform Architecture

Design and oversee the architecture of a scalable data and software platform. Responsibilities include:

• Designing cloud-based infrastructure
• Building data ingestion pipelines from multiple third-party systems
• Developing centralized data models and analytics infrastructure
• Ensuring platform scalability and reliability

AI Product Development

Lead the development of AI-powered capabilities that generate insights and recommendations from business data. Examples include:

• Predictive analytics
• Operational insights
• Automated monitoring and alerts
• Intelligent workflow automation

Data & Integrations

Develop systems that integrate data from external software platforms and normalize it for analysis. Responsibilities include:

• API integrations
• Data normalization and quality management
• Analytics infrastructure
• Real-time data processing

User Experience & Product Design

Develop intuitive software interfaces that combine:

• Visual dashboards
• Conversational AI interfaces
• Actionable analytics

The product should enable users to easily understand performance data and make informed decisions.

Security & Infrastructure

Ensure the platform meets enterprise-grade security standards. Responsibilities include:

• Secure data architecture
• Role-based access control
• Encryption and monitoring
• Compliance with industry security standards

Skills/Experience Required

Ideal candidates will have enterprise technology leadership experience including:

• Building enterprise software platforms
• Data infrastructure engineering and analytics systems such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Oracle, MySQL, PowerBI, etc.
• AI enabled platform development
• AI and Automation experience such as LLM's, Agentic Workflows, RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Builder, prompting and agentic workflows, AI driven automation, and GenAI adoption.
• Cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Experience in a technical or systems lead role with a startup, AI platform, enterprise technology, fintech, or financial services firm.

• Experience with enterprise cloud infrastructure and workloads (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Data engineering and pipelines
• Enterprise AI, automation, and data transformation initiatives.
• API integration
• Leading product design and analytics platform development
• Best practices for enterprise security
