The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in a fiberglass production environment. We are looking for people with great attitudes and the willingness to learn.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment.
• Performs maintenance and repairs to all manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment.
• Start and run fire pump weekly for 30 minutes.
• Audit fire extinguishers.
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
• Repairing building structures which may include minor construction projects.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment.
• Determine functionality of parts by inspection using test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, mechanical and pneumatic components and systems.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Must have electrical experience.

· Must have plumbing experience.

• Experience with welding a plus.
• Previous equipment repair and supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to order parts and look up product information on computer.
• Ability to move up to 75 lbs.
• 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and flexible.
• Must be able to work first shift, starting at 6:00am, as well as Saturdays as needed while production is down.
• Display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and have the ability to prioritize.
• Must be able to lead by example, such as excellent attendance, leadership abilities, willingness to learn, and be a team player at all times.
