Specialty Pharmacy Technician (Onsite) – Full-Time Opportunity | West Sacramento, CA

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy operations environment in West Sacramento, CA . Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Schedule may transition after 4 weeks to Sunday – Thursday:
• • Sunday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Weekdays: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Overtime: Mandatory based on business needs

Work Environment

• 100% onsite role in a high-volume, production-based pharmacy setting
• Fast-paced environment requiring accuracy, consistency, and teamwork

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules based on system-generated instructions
• Replenish automated dispensing systems and ensure proper medication storage and handling
• Perform barcode scanning, data entry, and verification of lot and expiration details
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist in resolving discrepancies
• Prepare specialty and cold-chain prescriptions following strict handling guidelines
• Support packaging and shipping processes while maintaining patient privacy standards
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate operational issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active California Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy, retail, or customer service experience (excluding externships/training)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• PTCB National Certification
• Experience in a high-volume or production-based environment
