Job SummaryThe Recruiter will research, develop, and execute effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract, engage, and hire qualified talent for full-time and part-time positions across Vinik Sports Group. Key responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for Business Operations and Arena Operations roles, while partnering closely with hiring managers to identify workforce needs and implement targeted recruitment strategies. The Recruiter will ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, strengthen the organization's employment brand, and deliver a world-class candidate and employee experience. In addition, this role will support onboarding activities, employee lifecycle audits, and recruitment reporting to help drive the efficient operation of the People Operations department.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPartner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop compliant job descriptions, and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidatesProvide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers through employment data, metrics, and best practicesEnhance the recruitment process through development of innovative, creative, and proactive recruiting strategies to meet the business needs of each assigned departmentAssist with the tracking of recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline activity, and hiring outcomes, providing recommendations for continuous improvementProvide full cycle recruiting to ensure a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates (including posting positions, reviewing applications, screening, and managing logistics of the interview process)Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation of candidate and recruiting activities to ensure legal compliance with employment best practices, policies, processes, and applicable lawsCoordinate candidate logistics (i.e., travel) and all interview schedulesDevelop innovative and creative strategies for job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach for large volume seasonal hiringLeverage various resources to source qualified candidates including the internet, job fairs, community-based organizations, print media, formal/informal networks, and sports/entertainment networkManage the biweekly staffing and requisition reportsCoordinate onboarding processes through Workday, ensuring accurate completion of new hire documentation, seamless onboarding experience, and compliance with organizational requirementsParticipate in special People Operations projects and process improvement initiativesSupport employer branding initiatives by creating and maintaining recruitment marketing content across various platforms and community partnerships.Assist with audits of employee records and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency throughout the employee lifecycle.Maintain and update the organization's career website to ensure job postings, employer branding content, and recruitment marketing materials are current, accurate, and reflective of the Vinik Sports Group employment brand.Other duties as assignedGame/Event ResponsibilitiesGame/Event Night responsibilities: YesApproximate number of events worked per year: 10QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required3-5 years’ experience in high volume recruitingSHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferredFamiliarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; experience with Workday strongly preferredThorough understanding of HR principals, techniques, and proceduresAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)Results oriented and strong customer service skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational and time management skillsProfessional attitude and interpersonal skillsMaintain strict confidentiality and use of discretionAbility to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work collaboratively with othersAbility to build credibility and establish trust among coworkers and managementWorking ConditionsAbility to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distractingThis is an onsite role; flexibility to work a minority of time remotely.Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as neededAbility to lift/carry/move up to 15lbsAbility to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperaturesAbility to commute to various venues throughout the Greater Tampa Bay AreaAbility to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or peopleWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
