Randstad is seeking a versatile, compassionate, and highly organized Medical Assistant / Front Office Specialist to join our client's healthcare team. In this dual-role capacity, you will be the face of our clinic, seamlessly balancing patient-facing clinical duties with critical administrative front-desk operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to providing an exceptional patient experience from check-in to check-out. You MUST HAVE experience working as an MA as well as a Medical Front Desk. Responsibilities

Clinical Duties (Back Office)

• Patient Rooming: Warmly greet and escort patients to exam rooms; prepare them for their examination or procedure.
• Vitals & Intake: Accurately measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight) and document the patient's chief complaint.
• Clinical Triage: Perform initial patient triage, gathering relevant medical history, reviewing medications, and prioritizing patient needs for the provider.
• Provider Support: Assist physicians and nursing staff during exams, procedures, and routine screenings as needed.

Administrative & Front Desk Duties

• Patient Flow Management: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all demographic and insurance information is accurate and up to date.
• Communication Hub: Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, routing calls, taking accurate messages, and addressing patient inquiries with a professional demeanor.
• Medical Records Management: Maintain, update, and organize Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) in strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• General Administration: Handle daily administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient recalls, processing copayments, and scanning/filing medical documentation.
