Experienced Veterinary Technician/RVT (Preferred)

Are you looking for an outstanding opportunity for a life-changing career move? Are you tired of the corporate environment in Veterinary Medicine?

Come join our supportive, fun, super positive team at this private family-owned practice. We are committed to both best-in-class excellence of medical care for our patients and an amazing work culture for our team.

About Our Hospital:

Pacific Grove Animal Hospital is a growing well-established, small animal practice on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. We have been voted “Best Veterinarian of Monterey County” five years in a row in the Weekly magazine. We provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical care for cats, dogs, and exotics. All of our equipment is brand new as of 2021, including laser, ultrasound, digital radiology (dental and full body), digital cytology, dental machine, oxygen concentrator, surgical equipment, video otoscope, in house Idexx laboratory machines, computer systems with cloud-based software, and much more.

Our Team And Work Culture:

We are open M-F from 8:00am to 5:30pm—no weekend or on-call shifts so you can spend time with your family and enjoy the fabulous lifestyle we have here.

Our low turnover rate is a testament to our family-like working environment, competent management, and highly skilled leadership from our Doctors.

We have a fun, outgoing, hardworking team. Dr. Brynie Kaplan Dau and our staff enable us to provide the highest standard of care that our Hospital has become known for. We are extremely proud of our staff retention and attribute it to our supportive and communicative team and our “zero tolerance” policy for abusive clients. We have a very affluent and friendly clientele, so thankfully there is very little need to enforce this policy.

We offer highly competitive compensation packages including:

• Excellent health benefits including vision and dental
• Employer-matched 401K
• Generous continuing education allowance
• License renewal and professional association memberships
• Vacation and sick paid time off
