Required Skills:

• Valid and active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Proven experience in rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments.
• Strong knowledge of clinical interventions, modalities, assistive devices, and therapeutic exercises.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to assess patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Proficient documentation skills in electronic health records, adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Knowledge of APTA guidelines and state practice acts.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in Long Term Care or similar geriatric rehab settings.
• Experience supervising or supporting students or new staff.
• Familiarity with DME procurement and supply management.
• Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree in Applied Science or relevant healthcare field.
• At least 1 year of outpatient or long-term care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and professional development.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work scheduled days starting June 15, 2026.
• Compliance with all facility policies, including participation in required trainings and meetings.
• Willingness to support DME procurement and supervise students as needed.
