Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float Pool

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with recent ICU experience to join our Critical Care Float Pool. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in critical care nursing, equipped to work across various ICU settings, including MICU, Trauma ICU, Burn ICU, and CVICU. This role requires the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to critically ill patients, managing complex medical issues.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and dysrhythmias, providing appropriate interventions.
• Float between all critical care units as needed, ensuring continuity of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support procedures with cardiac monitoring, ensuring patient safety at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Recent ICU experience within the last year is required.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory; TNCC preferred.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Strong skills in managing ventilated patients, IV starts, and administering conscious sedation.
