Location: Lake Charles, LA

Pay: $2,529.60 weekly

Shifts: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday

Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN specialized in Surgery for a travel assignment in Lake Charles, LA. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including limited Pediatric (ortho only), Adult, and Geriatric cases. The primary work environment will be at the St Patrick Campus with occasional floating to the Lake Area campus.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Surgery - Travel

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness of treatment
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Surgery - Travel

BLS certification required
RN License in the state of employment or compact
1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
