Laboratory - Pathologists AssistantWinston Salem, NC, United StatesJob DescriptionRequired Skills / Certs / Exp: Minimum Years of Experience: 3Traveler Experience required: YesLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Hospital clinical laboratory, macroscopic description of gross anatomic features, performs gross examination and dissection of large/complex specimens, performs gross examination and dissection of small biopsies, prepares tissues and histological processing, sectioning surgical pathology and specimens, specimen fixation, specimen receipt and labeling, evisceration, prepare tissue samples, tissue sampling of microscopic examination, obtain/review patient clinical information (ex: scans, x-rays, lab results), tumor triage, adult and fetal autopsiesCerts: ASCP - PA Preferred Skills / Certs / Exp: Skills: specimen accessioning, cut and stain frozen sections, postmortem examinations, removal of brain and spinal cord, gross/microscopic photographyMaster's degree preferredJob DetailsShift: 5x8 MIDS 1200-20:30 Monday-Friday.40 hours can be offered.
