Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care to new and established patients. Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease. Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and order and review appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies. Manage cardiovascular medications and therapies in accordance with established clinical guidelines and scope of practice. Provide post-hospitalization and post-procedure follow-up care to support continuity of care and optimal recovery. Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular conditions, medications, lifestyle modifications, and risk-factor reduction. Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment, referrals, testing, and follow-up. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required. Cardiology office-based Physician Assistant experience strongly preferred. Ability to solve complex clinical problems with quick decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compensation Range: Physician Assistant: $110,406.40 - $209,768.00 annually In addition to your base compensation, VHC Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage (subject to eligibility requirements), as well as additional wellness and retirement benefits designed to support our employees and their families.
