We are seeking qualified candidates for a Warehouse Specialist at our Southern Pines, North Carolina location. The hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Starting pay is $17.37 an hour with the opportunity to make $21.81 after 9 months.

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Checks worksheet against returns and keeps all manifests, packing slips, and pallet labels together.
• Determines if product is a refurb, scrap, or new product then enters proper information into Return Goods system.
• Moves returns to proper location (refurb, scrap or new)
• Reboxes or removes any labels and shrink wrap. When skid is complete, turns list of products in to the Warehouse Coordinator.
• Processes all New Goods that are identified in defective returns.
• Performs weekly counts on WIP and, as requested, lithos inventory levels.
• Turns in all paperwork at the end of the day to the Warehouse Coordinator.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Performs other miscellaneous related duties as required.

Requirements of the Position Include:

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1 – 3 months prior applicable experience required
• Forklift certification required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must have the ability to apply common sense and understand direction to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Need to be able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must regularly stand; walk; sit; kneel and bend; use hands to finger, handle, and feel objects; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; occasionally balance and climb stairs.

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
