Senior Lead Developer - Real Time Pricing and Risk, Vice President Job Req Id: 26972077 Location(s): New York, New York, United States Job Type: Hybrid Posted: Jun. 23, 2026 Job Overview Senior lead developer role is within a global application development team responsible for Real Time Pricing and Risk applications for Rates trading business. The role will focus on design and implementation of critical new features as well as architectural and performance improvements. Requires strong design and programming skills in Java, understanding of streaming frameworks, and familiarity with real‑time performance systems. Also requires strong familiarity with Rates trading business and quantitative foundation of pricing and risk calculations. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the team to understand functional and operational requirements Lead designs and implementation of robust and testable code in support of the requirements Develop certain non‑functional features in the system to improve reliability, scalability and performance Contribute to the design and implementation of automated test suites Participate in code reviews helping other team members improve their code Key Relationships Real Time Pricing and Risk Team in Warsaw, London, New York Other development teams also located in the same regions and India Quantitative Analytics team Application support organization Knowledge / Experience 7+ years of relevant experience in Application Development Familiarity with KDB is strongly preferred Experience with system analysis and in programming of software applications, especially as it pertains to performance and testability of components Familiarity with interest rates products and associated pricing and risk calculations Ability to be proactive, adjust priorities quickly Experience working on a mature development in a large collaborative environment as well as coming up with ideas that challenge current practices Demonstrated leadership skills Technology Skills Experience with Java ecosystem Expert in Java development Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best DevOps practices Exposure to profiling, debugging and monitoring tools Familiarity with Apache Flink, KDB and Kafka a plus Ambition to learn aspects of systems supporting real time interest rate risk calculations Salary & Benefits Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $142,320.00 – $213,480.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
