Summary As an Assistant Teacher at Carrington Academy, you will create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives. Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well‑being of the school, and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body. Location 2945 Webb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30009 Hours 9:00am - 6:00pm Student Age Range Preschool (3 years old - 4 years old) Pay Range $16.00 to $18.00 per hour (dependent on education and experience) Responsibilities Culture : Positively influence your peers to work toward and meet the school’s vision of excellence. Provides and maintains quality education programs and ensures successful implementation of approved curriculum. Health & Safety : Prioritizes a safe, clean, and attractive learning environment. Maintains compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and internal policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) or a Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Often carrying and lifting 25 pounds or less (25‑50%) and occasionally carrying 25‑50 pounds (10‑25%).
