Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Full Time

Overview: This role involves delivering holistic, patient-centered nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with professional and ethical standards. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, recognize abnormal data, communicate effectively with healthcare team, develop and prioritize individualized care plans, and collaborate with patients and families. Implement evidence-based interventions, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety protocols. Continuously evaluate care outcomes and adjust plans accordingly. Document all care accurately in electronic records and participate in performance improvement activities. Leadership & Professional Development: Demonstrate leadership by mentoring peers, engaging in unit initiatives, and maintaining professional growth through participation in meetings, certifications, and community activities. Act as a resource and educator, supervise competency assessments, and support research activities. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS if in ICU/step-down. Strong communication, cultural competence, adaptability, and commitment to ongoing education are essential. All nurses hired post-2010 must obtain a BSN within five years; no prior experience required.
