The Opportunity:

This hybrid opportunity enables you to work closely with technical teams, bridging language and culture to help drive innovation in tire testing and development. You'll play a pivotal support role for key teams and Japanese expatriates, ensuring seamless administrative processes and supporting the company's pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the R&D department, including travel arrangements and scheduling meetings for personnel and visitors.
• Facilitate external and internal communication by greeting guests, handling inquiries, screening phone calls, and recording meeting notes.
• Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems, ensuring accurate and accessible records of office and testing materials.
• Manage and monitor office inventory, supply stocks, as well as assist with ordering and purchasing activities for the department.
• Support the Tire Testing and Tire Development teams with technical document creation, translation (English/Japanese), and interpretation during meetings and internal collaborations.
• Assist with the management of third-party tire testing operations, including processing POs, quotes, invoices, and shipment logistics.
• Establish and maintain a technical library of operating procedures, standards, and specifications for team reference.
• Provide support to Japanese expatriates, assisting them in acclimating to their new work and living environments in Georgia.

Must-Have Skills:

• Fluency in both Japanese and English with advanced written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• At least 3 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and uphold confidentiality and discretion.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting diverse teams and working environments.
• Ability to process documents, maintain records, and manage department operations efficiently.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field.
• Previous experience working with Japanese expatriates or in a bilingual (Japanese-English) environment.
• Knowledge of document design and technical writing.
• Background supporting technical teams within motor vehicle parts manufacturing or similar industries.
• Familiarity with purchase order, invoicing, or logistics management systems.
• Experience managing budgets, expenditures, or tracking departmental finances.
• Understanding of safety guidelines and procedures in industrial settings.
