Staffing Coordinator - Automotive Industry

The Digital Workforce Coordinator is responsible for qualifying, scheduling, and managing the initial relationship with associates in their respective areas. The DWC qualifies, and discusses job opportunities with potential associates and works with the Talent Optimization Manager to place associates in the right opportunity. This position assists the TOM by scheduling orientations for the associates as well as scheduling them directly to the client.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for qualifying, scheduling and managing the initial relationship with candidates and employees.
Responsible for the initial screening and qualifying of job applicants over the phone.
Identifies key matches between candidates and clients to fill job openings.
Works with the Talent Optimization Manager to assist by scheduling orientations and organizing work opportunities with new employees.
Re-deploys employees into customers after their initial sort or opportunity ends.
Assists in communicating the current and future needs of candidates and employees to ensure best fit potential.
Assists in building and maintaining a pipeline of "ready to work" candidates.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience working in a high volume, outbound call environment
Strong and professional phone presence
Able to quickly assess a conversation to address candidate concerns and help resolve problems
Able to work in a team environment to accomplish needed end result for applicant, employee and/or client
Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written correspondence.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong computer skills including CRM (Salesforce.com +)
Self-starter
Strong problem solving skills
College degree preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: the physical attributes an employee must have in order to perform the job duties with or without a reasonable accommodation.

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Position is considered to be sedentary and no unusual physical requirements are necessary to perform daily tasks. Position duties may require incumbents to lift, carry heavy objects (up to 25 lbs.) on a non-routine or daily basis.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed based on business needs pending director approval.
