Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with standard ED procedures including Level IV trauma, primary stroke center protocols, and chest pain care with PCI capability (STEMI 24/7)
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with an all-RN nursing staff, lobby technicians, and unit secretaries to ensure safe and efficient patient flow
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current TNCC and NIHSS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• Familiarity with Level IV trauma and primary stroke center workflows
