Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver (OTR) Class A role based out of Las Vegas, NV. The Truck Driver will operate Class A trucks on long-haul routes, safely transporting freight between customer locations, terminals, and distribution centers. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, and following assigned routes and schedules. The driver will adhere to all DOT regulations, maintain accurate logs and documentation, and communicate regularly with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status. The role also involves loading and unloading as needed, caring for the vehicle and equipment, and representing the company professionally with customers and on the road.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license with a strong track record of safe truck driving experience.
• Proficiency in operating and maneuvering a Class A truck in various traffic, weather, and road conditions.
• Ability to handle loading and unloading tasks safely, including basic freight handling and securing loads.
• Solid understanding of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and required safety procedures.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle record review, and drug/alcohol screening.
• Ability to work OTR schedules, including overnight travel and weekends as needed.
• Good communication skills, reliability, and commitment to professional, courteous conduct with customers and coworkers.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior OTR or regional trucking experience is highly beneficial.
