Qualifications: OH SLP License Role Overview: As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development. Job Details: SLP: Days/Hours Per week: 5 days per week (7 to 7.5 hour days) Location/age of students: 3 days in an autism program (school aged to middle school) in Painesville Township, OH; 1 day preschool program in Middlefield, OH; 1 day at I-Stem in Concord Township, OH Caseload: Autism Program (17 students direct care); Preschool program (7 students direct care); I-Stem (6 students direct care, 3 consult) Must be on-site Key Responsibilities: Manages and organizes specialized materials, equipment and environment essential to the speech and language program Provides educationally related communication intervention for students disabled by disorders of language, speech or hearing in a variety of settings as appropriate Assesses speech and language skills of students suspected of having a communication disorder and consults with teachers in developing IEP goals and objectives Provides resources, modeling strategies and training to other team members in communication interventions Communicates regularly the results of individual student assessment and progress with involved school staff (special and general education), parents and where appropriate the student Benefits: Comprehensive Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Housing Allowance: Weekly per diem for eligible travelers Credentialing Reimbursements: Support for licensure and certification costs 401(k) with Matching: Retirement savings program with 4% matching vested immediately Weekly Pay: Direct deposit for convenience Clinical Support: Ongoing professional guidance and mentorship Ready to Make a Difference?
