Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse positions are available in an acute care setting within a healthcare facility. These roles involve providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and management, with shifts scheduled from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  The Telemetry RN will be responsible for caring for patients with common diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, strokes, chest pain, diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, COPD, detox, and underlying cardiac conditions. Experience with radial band and femoral catheter recoveries is required. The role includes reading telemetries with centralized telemetry support, and working with nurse aides and other clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Required Qualifications:
  Valid Illinois license, BLS Certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience as an RN. Must have EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Travel experience and prior telemetry experience are preferred but not mandatory.
• Schedule:
  12-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  The unit operates a team lead during the day, with charge nurses on nights, weekends, and holidays. There are nurse aides on the unit with a ratio of 1:10-12. The unit requires scrubs in Caribbean color and assigns a 1-12 hour orientation shift. Floating to medical floors or step-down units may be required, and clinicians with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be offered a reduced rate.
