Job Description
Seeking a hands-on Technical Service Representative to support Pulp & Paper, surface treatment, and industrial customers in the Lewiston, Idaho region. This is a field-based technical role focused on delivering on-site service, troubleshooting, and customer retention through strong mechanical aptitude and chemical application support.
What This Role Does:
- Provide on-site technical service and product application support
- Perform equipment repair, installation, and replacements
- Conduct chemical testing and optimize dosage/setpoints
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper system performance
- Document findings and enter service data into CRM/analytics systems
- Conduct service audits and make process improvement recommendations
- Support multiple accounts across a defined geography
Qualifications
Ideal Background:
- 2+ years of mechanical, chemical, or industrial experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude (electrical and pipefitting preferred)
- Comfortable performing hands-on troubleshooting and testing
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft tools
- Able to work independently with strong time management
- Must reside in the Lewiston, ID region
- Willing to travel up to 25% (occasional overnight)
