We're seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy team dedicated to delivering safe, accurate, and patient-focused medication services. What You'll Do

• Verify and dispense prescription medications while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, completeness, and potential concerns before dispensing.
• Support and guide pharmacy technicians through preparation, packaging, labeling, and dispensing activities.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives designed to maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.
• Monitor and maintain controlled substance inventory, storage, and documentation requirements.
• Ensure medications and pharmaceutical waste are handled and disposed of according to established safety guidelines.
• Utilize pharmacy software systems to accurately review prescriptions, patient information, and medication records.
• Assist in maintaining inventory integrity and workflow efficiency throughout daily operations.
• Serve as a resource for pharmacy interns, technicians, and healthcare staff regarding medications and pharmacy best practices.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to support exceptional patient outcomes and operational excellence.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient care.

Preferred

• Previous pharmacist experience in retail, specialty, hospital, compounding, or clinical settings.
• Sterile and/or non-sterile compounding experience.
• Additional state pharmacist licenses.
• Experience supervising or mentoring pharmacy technicians.
• Comfortable working with pharmacy technology platforms and electronic documentation systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Nicholasville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $61.00 - $66.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
